How can I use this site?

Website Wisdom is meant to be used as a resource site. That means that this site is intended to help people learn various computer-related things, and offer them free resources. This site is also free to the public, which means that you will never need to pay to access all of this site with the possible exception of certain special parts of the site that are not in production yet. For example, if this site were to offer server-side scripting creation, where you would tell us what you need via email or other contact, and we would create it for you. Keep in mind that the prior statement was just an example, and is not in or planned to be in production.

What settings should I use with this site?

This site has been tested for most browsers that are version 4 or higher. This includes Internet Explorer, Netscape, Mozilla, MSN Explorer, Opera, and AOL. The site will work best with Internet Explorer version 5.5 or higher.

The platform that you are using, whether it be Macintosh, Windows, or another platform, should have minimal effects on the way this site looks, runs, and operates.

The optimal disply for this site is a screen resolution of 1024*768 pixels (or closest option), with at least 256 colors. Website Wisdom has been tested, however, on screen resolutions ranging from 800*600 pixels to 1600*1200 pixels, and will still be effective those screen resolutions.

How do I navigate this site?

The navigation on Website Wisdom was designed with ease-of-use in mind. There are four major sections of Website Wisdom: documentation, web resources, user interaction, and site resources. Documentation includes documented resources such as tutorials, references, and tests. Web resources include resources that create something for you such as generators, copy-and-paste scripts, and downloadable programs. User Interaction refers to resources that allow you to interact with other users of Website Wisdom. There are two methods of user interaction: IRC chat and the forums. Site resources refer to resources that have to do with Website Wisdom specifically such as the FAQ, site options, links, contact, and the "be a partner" program.
